Your PIN, notifications and account

The More tab holds your account details, your check-in PIN, your balance and your notification settings.

Your check-in PIN

This is the four-digit PIN you type on the facility’s kiosk tablet to check your children in and out. It belongs to you, not to your child, and it works for all of your children.

• Tap the eye icon to reveal the PIN. Not set means you do not have one yet.
• Change lets you set a new one. Enter four digits and tap Save.

Keep it to yourself. Anyone with your PIN can check your children in and out at the door. Do not use your bank PIN or your child’s birthday, and change it if you think someone else has seen it.

If you get Unable to update PIN. It may already be in use by another parent., choose different digits.

Billing

Outstanding Balance shows what you owe and across how many invoices, with your most recent invoices underneath. Tap an unpaid one to pay it, or View All Invoices for the full list. Payment Methods manages your cards and bank accounts.

Security

If your phone supports it, Sign in with Face ID (or Touch ID, or your fingerprint) lets you skip your password on this device. Only use it on a phone that is yours and locked.

Notifications

Six switches, all on unless you turn them off:

• Attendance — check-in and check-out
• Activities — meals, naps and the day’s entries
• Photos — new photos shared with you
• Messages — replies from staff
• Incidents — incident reports
• Administrative — invoices and facility announcements

They apply to this device only, so a phone and a tablet are set separately. If a switch flips back on its own, the change did not save — try it again.

Turning off Incidents or Administrative means you may miss something that matters. We would leave those on.

Sign out

Sign Out at the bottom signs you out immediately, with no confirmation.

Deleting your account

There is no delete-account option in the app. Requests are handled by email — write to privacy@childcarious.com, or use the form at childcarious.com/delete-account. Your facility may be required to keep some records even after your account is closed.
