Classrooms in the sidebar lists your rooms with their capacity and an Active or Inactive badge.

Select Add Classroom, then fill in Name, and optionally Description, Location and Capacity. Status starts as Active. Select Add Classroom to save.

Capacity is what the occupancy figures and the capacity bar are measured against, so set it even though it is optional.

A classroom has five tabs: Staff, Children, Gallery, Activity and Calendar, with three figures at the top: Currently Present, Staff-to-Child Ratio and Capacity Utilization.

Assign Staff picks an employee and a Role — Lead Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Substitute or Aide — with optional notes. Staff History keeps past assignments.

Today’s Attendance lists who is Present, Checked Out or Expected, with check-in and check-out times. Enrolled Children below it is the permanent roster.

Quick Actions logs care entries for the room. Choose Meal, Sleep, Bathroom, Temperature, Medication, Note or Activity, then under Log for choose Whole Class, Selected Children or Single Child.

Only children who are checked in can be logged against — with nobody checked in you get No children currently checked in and the tiles are disabled.

Everything logged here reaches parents in their app, so write notes accordingly.

Lesson plans for the room, in Day, Week or Month view. Create Lesson Plan opens the editor. Generate from Curriculum appears when the room has a curriculum assigned, and opens the same editor. See Curriculum.

Photos and videos tagged with this classroom, filterable by type, date and Visibility — Internal or Published. Only Published items are visible to parents.

Setting a classroom Inactive does not move the children in it. Reassign them first, or they will sit in a room that no longer appears in your active lists.
