Registration settings
Enrollments → Settings controls what families are asked for. Save Settings at the bottom applies everything on the page.
Parent Handbook
Section titled “Parent Handbook”Upload your handbook as a PDF or Word document, up to 10 MB, then choose where it is attached:
- Waitlist confirmation emails
- Registration invitation emails
PDF is recommended — some mail providers block Word attachments.
Required Documents
Section titled “Required Documents”The documents parents must provide during registration. Add Required Document asks for a Document Type — Birth Certificate, Certificate of Immunization, Certificate of Immunization Exemption, Medical History, Health Insurance or Other — and a Name.
Ask only for what you actually need. Every document you add is a step between a family and a completed registration, and each one is personal data you then have to hold.
Immunization
Section titled “Immunization”Allow Immunization Exemption lets parents submit an exemption form instead of immunisation records. Set this to match your state’s rule, not your preference.
Required Registration Steps
Section titled “Required Registration Steps”Choose which steps parents must complete. Five are always required and cannot be switched off: Registration Information, Basic Child Information, Parent Information, Schedule and Consent.
Optional: Allergies, Medical, Immunizations and Required Documents.
Turning off Allergies or Medical means you enrol children without that information on file. If you do that, have another way of collecting it before the child’s first day.
Storefront Integration
Section titled “Storefront Integration”Storefront Form Keys are the publishable keys that let your website submit forms to Childcarious.
- Select New Key.
- Give it a Label and list your Registered Domains, one per line, including
https://. - Select Create Key.
The full key is shown once — copy it then. Use Embed code on a key for a JavaScript snippet, an iframe or a direct link, per form type. Revoke key stops it working immediately, so revoke a key you believe has leaked and issue a new one.
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”The Notifications tab is a placeholder: Notification settings coming soon. Registration emails still send; there is just nothing to configure yet.
