Pay an invoice

ParentsParent appRole permission: billing.view

Tap Pay Invoice on the Home tab, or View All Invoices in the More tab. Your outstanding balance is shown in the More tab, under Billing.

You need a saved payment method. Add one first — see Payment methods. The app cannot take card details during a payment.

  1. On Billing, find the invoice and tap Pay Now.
  2. Choose the payment method. Your default is already selected.
  3. Tap Pay $0.00 — the button shows the actual total.

You see Payment Submitted and “Your payment is being processed. You will receive a confirmation once complete.”

Card payments usually settle within minutes. Bank payments take a few days, and the invoice stays Unpaid until the bank confirms — this is normal, and you do not need to pay again.

Payment Failed offers Open Web App, which takes you to app.childcarious.com where you can complete the payment. Try that before contacting the facility — the most common causes are an expired card and a bank block on a new payee.

Status What it means
Unpaid Sent to you and awaiting payment
Partially Paid Part of the balance has been paid
Paid Settled
Overdue Past its due date
Void Cancelled by the facility. Nothing to pay
Refunded Paid and then refunded

An invoice card shows Late fee: $0.00 in red when your facility has applied one, and Refund: $0.00 in amber when one has been issued, with the date.

Late fee rules are set by your facility, not by the app. If one looks wrong, message the facility — they can void or adjust an invoice.

Invoices paid through the app show View Invoice and Download PDF, which open the hosted receipt in your browser. Use the PDF for childcare subsidy claims and tax purposes.

When you have paid invoices, Show Payment History at the bottom of the Billing screen opens them.

No outstanding invoices means you are up to date.
