Your profile and password
Open the menu under your name at the top right of the web app.
Your profile
Section titled “Your profile”Profile shows your first name, last name, email address and the roles you hold. Update Profile lets you change your name, email address and bio, then Submit.
Changing your email address changes the address you sign in with. Make sure you can receive mail at the new one before you save.
Change your password
Section titled “Change your password”Change Password asks for your Old Password, then your New Password twice.
A new password must have:
- at least 12 characters
- at least two lowercase letters
- at least two uppercase letters
- at least two digits
- at least one special character, such as
!,@,#,$,&or*
The form tells you which rule failed, one at a time, so you may need more than one attempt. A passphrase of a few unrelated words with digits and punctuation is easier to type and harder to guess than a short complex string.
You see Your password has been successfully changed. when it works. You stay signed in on this device.
If you cannot sign in at all
Section titled “If you cannot sign in at all”You cannot change your own password without knowing the old one. Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen, or ask an administrator at your facility to send you a reset. See I cannot sign in.

Section titled “Keeping your account safe”- Your account is tied to your facility’s children’s records. Do not share it, even with a colleague covering your shift — ask an admin to create their own.
