Open the Profile tab and tap Lesson Plans. The screen shows Today’s Plan for your classroom, with today’s date underneath.

What you see

• The plan title and its state: Draft, Published or Completed.
• Week N Theme and the theme name, when your classroom is following a curriculum.
• Any notes the person who wrote the plan left for you.
• Activities (N) — each with its time, name, description, the developmental domain it belongs to, and a Materials box listing what you need.

You cannot create a plan, edit one, add an activity or tick anything off here. Plans are written in the web app, by whoever does curriculum planning at your facility.

If it says No lesson plan for today, no plan has been published for your classroom for today’s date. Check with your director.

Which classroom it shows

The plan shown is for the classroom the app works out from today’s attendance. You cannot switch classroom or look at another date. If you cover a different room, the plan for that room may not be the one you see — ask for a printed copy or check the web app.

Getting ready with it

The Materials box is the useful part first thing in the morning: gather everything listed before the children arrive, and check the list against what is actually in the room. Tell your director early if something is missing, rather than during the activity.
