Staff credentials
Compliance → Credentials lists every credential you hold for staff: Employee, Credential, Number, Issuing Authority, Expiration and Status.
The Staff Credential Compliance card at the top shows a percentage — active credentials as a share of those tracked — plus counts of Total, Active, Expiring and Expired.
Add a credential
Section titled “Add a credential”Add Credential asks for:
- Employee — required
- Type — CPR, First Aid, Background Check, State License, CDA, College Degree, Food Handler, Medication Administration, Mandated Reporter, Child Abuse Prevention, Safe Sleep, SIDS, Transportation Safety or Custom
- Custom Name — when the type is Custom
- Credential Number and Issuing Authority
- Issue Date and Expiration Date
- Notes
The expiry date is the whole point of the record. A credential saved without one shows No expiry and will never appear in your expiring list.
Statuses
Section titled “Statuses”Active, Expiring Soon, Expired, Not Required and Pending Verification — set from your dates, not editable.
Editing and deleting
Section titled “Editing and deleting”This list has no row actions. Edit or delete a credential from the employee’s own Credentials tab (Employees → the person → Credentials), where you can also Add First Credential for someone new.
Bulk import
Section titled “Bulk import”For setting up, or after a training round, go to /app/compliance/bulk-import in your browser. There
is no link to it in the app.
- Download Template for the CSV.
- Fill it in.
employee_idandcredential_typeare required; name, number, issuing authority, issue date, expiration date and notes are optional. Dates areYYYY-MM-DD. - Drag the file in and select Import.
You get Import complete with counts of total rows, imported and skipped, and an Import Errors table naming the row and the problem. Fix those rows and import them again — imported rows are not rolled back.
Why this matters
Section titled “Why this matters”Staffing ratios usually depend on how many qualified people are in the building, and an expired background check or first-aid certificate can put a room out of compliance on the day. Check the expiring list weekly, and book renewals before the badge turns red.
