A child's schedule
A child’s schedule is the set of days and hours they attend. It drives who is expected each day, and it feeds pro-rated billing.
Edit the schedule
Section titled “Edit the schedule”From the child’s record, open Classroom & Schedule and select Create Schedule or Edit Schedule. The week view opens.
- Click a day to add an entry.
- Click an entry to change or remove it.
Every change saves as you make it. There is no Save button, so treat a click as final.
If two entries overlap, you get Schedule conflicts detected naming the entries, the days and the times. Fix the overlap — the conflict is reported but not prevented.
Change a classroom for one day
Section titled “Change a classroom for one day”Use Quick Daily Reassignment on the Classroom & Schedule tab for a one-off move, such as covering a closed room.
- Pick the Date and the Classroom.
- Add a note — the reason is worth recording.
- Select Assign for Day.
Active overrides are listed underneath, and can be removed with the bin icon. A permanent move is Change Classroom at the top of the same tab instead.
What the schedule affects
Section titled “What the schedule affects”- Staff apps show a child as Expected on the days they are scheduled.
- Pro-rating on the last billing period counts the days the child was scheduled to attend.
So a schedule left blank or wrong turns up later as a wrong invoice, not just an empty roster.
Failures are quiet
Section titled “Failures are quiet”The schedule screen reports errors as Failed to update schedule but several related actions on the classroom tab show no confirmation at all when they succeed. After a change, reload the tab and check the entry is there rather than trusting the screen.
