Log meals, naps and other activities
The Activity tab is where you record a child’s day. Everything you log here appears in the family’s app, so it is worth a moment’s care.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”A child has to be checked in before you can log anything for them. The screen lists only children who are currently checked in. If it says No children checked in, check them in from the classroom roster first.
Log an activity
Section titled “Log an activity”- Open the Activity tab.
- Tap the child.
- Tap the activity type: Meal, Nap, Bathroom, Temperature, Medication or Note.
- Fill in what that type asks for, then tap the button at the bottom of the sheet.
The sheet closes and you are returned to the child list. There is no confirmation message — if the sheet closed, it saved.
What each type asks for

The meal types are the ones your facility set up in the web app. If a meal is missing from the list, an admin can add it under Meals & Nutrition.
If the button at the bottom does nothing, a required field is still empty. The sheet does not show a message — it just waits.
Medications
Section titled “Medications”Only medications already recorded on the child’s record appear here, and only that child’s. If you see No medications on file for this child, the medication has not been added to their record yet. That is done in the web app, on the child’s Medical tab, and it needs the parent’s information — do not administer anything that is not on the list.
What families see
Section titled “What families see”Meals, naps, bathroom visits and temperatures appear in the parent’s Activity feed as soon as you save them, with your name against them. There is no draft step and no way to unpublish, so:
- Write notes a parent can read without you there to explain them.
- Record what happened, not an opinion about it.
- If you get something wrong, tell your admin — corrections are made in the web app.
An Observation note is filed as a classroom activity log rather than a feed entry.
