Waitlist

A waitlist holds families who want a place the center cannot currently offer, ordered by the date they enquired and the start date they need. It is how a center fills an unexpected opening without starting the enrollment funnel from scratch.

A waitlist ages badly. Families who enquired six months ago have usually placed their child elsewhere, so periodic re-confirmation keeps the list real.

Because openings are age-specific, the family at the top of the list is not always the one you can place — the next opening has to match the child’s age band.
